Happy that we can once again use #mmlf21 and #fmlm21 and #inizjamed because the Mediterrean’s favourite festival is BACK after a year’s plague-induced forced hiatus.
Festival Mediterranju tal-Letteratura ta’ Malta / Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival is in its 16th edition this year and will be held at Fort St. Elmo in Valletta on the 27th and 28th of August.
During each evening three authors will read their work as well as translations, fruit of the workshop held by Nadia Mifsud just before the festival.
The guest authors this year are: Ghayath Almadhoun, Miriam Calleja, Innua Ellams, Leanne Ellul, Katerina Iliopoulou and John Portelli.
Guest musicians are Michael Azzopardi and Kym Pepe. Effie Azzopardi and Kenneth Sacco are the resident musicians this year.
There will also be a bookstand by Mallia & D’Amato and drinks by CORE GREEN Organic & Fair Trade.
